Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has undergone surgery to remove a blood clot in his brain...
shooting for his film Bang Bang two months ago in Phuket.
“He had complaints of recurring headaches and weakness in his right hand,” neurosurgeon Dr Basant Misra, who operated on Hrithik, told media.
The actor used Twitter to tell his fans that he was undergoing surgery. “Minor brain surgery to remove blood clot (chronic subdural haematoma)’. Should be rock n rolling by evening! U guys have a great day too! Supersonic!!” he tweeted.
He also wrote on Facebook, after the surgery, from his hospital bed: "I'm horizontal but controlling and creating my environment to the best of my ability... That's all we ever need to do! Hope your doing d same! I'm fantastic by the way! Thanks to all your love and wishes!"
The 39-year-old actor has acted in more than 20 films since rising to stardom with his debut film "Kaho Naa ... Pyaar Hai" or "Say ... You Love Me", in 2000.
Roshan comes from a well-known Bollywood family. His father, Rakesh Roshan, is a film producer and director, and he is married to his childhood sweetheart, Suzanne Khan, daughter of actor, Sanjay Khan.
